Each spring, community volunteers from all walks of life are recruited to review funding requests received by the United Way of Boone County from local agencies. During the Allocation process, these volunteers visit agencies, meet with agency executives, and review budgets and needs. Each agency that is granted funding must provide measurable and visible results in our community and should address the local critical needs and gaps in service. Strong volunteer involvement ensures that contributions are directed to effective and efficient programs.

At this time, participation in the grant process is by invitation only.
