United Way of Boone County is hard at work throughout the year in addressing the needs of our community. Help us get the word out by including a United Way logo on your printed materials to promote our partnership in caring for people in need. You can download a copy of the logo right here.

Right click on the desired image format you would like to download and choose "Save Target As..." from the pop up menu. If you need a logo in another file format, please contact United Way of Boone County at (815) 544-3144.

United Way of Boone County Usage Guidelines

  • Permission to use United Way of Boone County Community Partner logos is only granted to our Partner Agencies.
  • Logos can only be represented in a) color, b) black, or c) United Way Blue (PANTONE 287).
  • If you choose to resize the image, be sure to keep the proper proportions.
  • If you are including the United Way logo on collateral materials, in newsletters, on letterhead, etc. please use the “United Way Partner” logo.

LIHEAP

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

LIHEAP provides energy assistance for residents in which a benefit is paid directly to the utility companies on behalf of income-eligible households.  United Way of Boone County will begin accepting appointments for the 2023-2024 heating season as follows:

Priority Group 1:
October 2, 2023 – First official call-in-date for seniors (60 and over) or individuals receiving Social Security Disability.

Priority Group 2:
November 1, 2023 – First official call-in-date for households with a child under the age of six or service disconnect.

Priority Group 3:
December 1, 2023 – First official call-in-date for the general population (households not eligible under Priority Groups 1 or 2).

Note:  Walk-ins are prohibited.  Applicants must call the United Way of Boone County office at (815) 544-3144 to make an appointment.  A translator is required for Spanish speaking households to schedule and attend appointment.
